Sail Away

Owner is great as well as properly!

We had a wonderful week at Sail Away in Waldport, OR. This is one of the most relaxing places to be on the Oregon Coast. The home's location right on the beach is unmatched. We can watch the ocean from most rooms and see the bay from the others. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds are comfy and the decorations - Lovely. This is my favorite place to stay. Look forward to being able to do it again. Thanks, John!

Great location, view, right on the beach.... You can walk down to the Bay and see all the sea lions Positive: Location can walk out to the beach, there are some dunes. Upper level has the better views especially the master bedroom. Enjoyed the fireplaces, I like that each room controls its own heating. Soaker tub was nice. Negative: All the windows on the beach side of the house need to have the non-functional roller shades taken down. They have baked in the Sun and are fragile and you cannot get them to go all the way up so they block the view and if you have the window open they flap in the wind. Some of the window cranks were very difficult to operate. You're in dire need of new dish rags and wash rags they are thread bear worn. The top rack to the dishwasher was completely missing, and you're missing a blade to your ceiling fan in the master bedroom therefore non-functional. Easy fixes just need to get someone on it especially the dishwasher I can't imagine having an entire family in here with no dishwasher rack. Also was unable to secure the back screen door so that also banged in the wind somewhat had to prop it open.

Fantastic! Great location with sort walk right to the beach and we could see and hear the ocean from the house. For our party of 10 we had plenty of room. It was clean, well stocked, and even had a great "playroom." Checkin was easy as was making the reservation. Will definately go back to this home.

This house is right on the beach and has views of both the ocean and Alsea bay bridge. It is between Newport and Yachats so easy to access both areas. The house is great and well stocked. The kids enjoyed the playroom. The house is larger than listed. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs.
